As they say ... timing is everything
Hilde will be ready to breed the week of October 3rd
same week Grace is on birthing alert
... so ... we are breeding Hilde to Everad this time,
there's no way I can get Hilde to Oregon and be here for Grace
and her puppies ... so there it is
(Jim and I have a vacation planned for summer, we are planning around having
puppies during the summer, so this time is it for breeding Hilde)
Hilde is in season and will be bred to Everad
... some back note? We got Hilde to breed to Everad, they are beautifully matched, their puppies will be exceptional!
we do expect silvers, blacks, blues
probably a cream or two
AND
maybe a brown puppy ... exciting!
both Everad and Hilde have "brown" in their background, in fact, Everad has more browns than he does silvers! We always get a silver but not always a cream ... so brown is a possiblity

Everad is a very small standard, or what we call Kleinpudel. His great grand sire was born in Latvia (Europe), this is where Everad gets the "silver" babies. Everad is a perfect combination of energy, confidence, manly dominant, sweet and cuddly, just try to get away without a million kisses in a matter of seconds ... this boy is gregarious! loves people, places, and activities, he's fearless and outgowing

March 2011 his nose starts to lighten, is he prematurely greying or is he clearing blue? Whatever he is ... he is a happy outgoing guy, great personality and sweet strong male-ness. This is what he usually look like, big smile on his face and wants acknowledged, he's gregarious and loving

Hilde comes from excellent breedings, years and years of genetic testing and champions ... as Everad does ... both Hilde and Everad are exceptional poodles! We actually got Hilde after comparing Everad and hers pedigree and genetic testing. I don't know why we didn't call her "Harmony" that's exactly her personality
we got our baby Hilde at 11 wks old, she was the "pink" puppy
Hilde is 8 months below, see the mahogony hue? That's what a blue puppy and not a black puppy will have. Full show coat, we practiced with her in classes but haven't shown her yet
she grew into as sweet, affectionate beautiful girl, loves stuffed animals
she's curious and intelligent, this girl does not whin or complain, not even when she should, she's a beautiful little lady, her breeding and background shows it with everything she does
Hilde is a "blue" she has a few greying hairs on her body, to the untrained eye she "looks" black
Hilde's momma "Marla" she's also a "blue" poodle
Hilde's Sire "Martin" he has a bunch of browns in his background
